This kit includes 25 sheets of 80# tag board (8.5" by 11") and 250 pre-cut paper strips (3/4" wide by 16" long), 25 each of 10 different Rainbow Brites colors. You cut the slits as needed (directions included for 11 one inch wide cuts).

This is a low-cost and convenient way to introduce Froebel's Weaving Occupation. This preschool activity was developed by Froebel for the Kindergarten but long ago lost its connection to his original educational intent. ECE educators still praise the eye-hand coordination and early math skills developed with the "over-under" patterns of paper weaving, but now you can integrate this with the other parts of the Kindergarten method.
