Gift 5B block set

Gift 5B is a variation of Froebel's 5th Gift. Gift 5B was promoted by Hermann Goldammer (a teacher in Froebel's original Kindergarten) in his 1874 book The Kindergarten. In addition to the cubes and prisms, this set introduces half cylinders (and matching concave parts). The architectural possibilities are enhanced, making this a true building set. This Gift is best used with children 5 years old and older. This set contains small pieces that may pose a choking hazard for young children. Manufactured in Viet Nam.
